Noni fruit herbal can fight asthma

You've heard of noni? If you've ever heard, noni is one fruit that is used many people in various parts of the world to treat various diseases. One more solution to treat asthma, we can make our self at home. Noni is a fruit with surface divided into polygonal cells spotted and warty appearance of the fruit that makes it look bad, and smells not so good. Nevertheless, the noni fruit that have a Latin name Morinda citrifolia L. It has a million benefits. Because in addition to vegetables and salad consumed, the fruit is also used as herbal medicine, one of them to treat asthma.

Medical Research On Noni

Medical research on noni started at least in 1950, when the scientific journal Pacific Science reported that Noni fruit showed antibacterial properties against M. pyrogenes, P. Aeruginosa, and even E. coli are deadly.

Studies and research on noni continuously carried out by various research institutions and universities. Since 1972, Dr. Ralph Heinicke, renowned biochemist from the United States began to conduct research on the alkaloid xeronine of the enzyme bromelain (an enzyme in pineapple), and then discovered that the Noni fruit also contains xeronine and precursor (proxeronine) in large numbers. Xeronine is one of the important substances that regulate specific functions of proteins and cells of the human body.

In 1993, the journal Cancer Letter reported that some researchers from Keio University and The Institute of Biomedical Sciences in Japan who do research on 500 types of plants claim that they found anti-cancer substances (damnacanthal) contained in Noni.

Leading research institutions in France, Holland, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Taiwan, Austria, Canada, and even the National Academy of Sciences, a center of scientific study of national prestigious in the United States has done various research on noni. Meanwhile, researchers at the University of Hawaii has also done much research on noni, including research on the activities of anti-tumor and anti-cancer Morinda citrifolia are loaded in a scientific journal (Proc, Western Pharmacology Society Journal, vol, 37, 1994).

A survey conducted by Dr. Neil Solomon of 8000 users noni juice involving 40 doctors and other medical practitioners indicates that Noni juice help the restoration of a number of diseases, such as: cancer, heart disease, digestive disorders, diabetes, stroke, and a host of other diseases.

Scientific research shows that constituents in noni fruit has the property to stimulate the formation of immune response, cleanses the blood, regulate cell function, regeneration of damaged cells and inhibit tumor growth. Phytochemicals (natural chemical substances found in plants) has efficacy for the prevention of disease and rich in antioxidant content. Noni has a very broad spectrum of phytochemicals, some of which are only found in the noni. The phytochemical-phytochemical synergy with each other to produce amazing healing properties.

Dr. Joseph Betz, chemical researchers from the FDA (Food and Drug Association) Center For Natural Products division of Good Safety and Applied Nutrition at the U.S. said that some experiments have shown that noni juice can soothe muscle movement and has anti-allergic effects.

In 1992, Dr. Isabella Abbott, professor of botany at the University of Hawaii said that Noni is used more and more people to cope with diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure and many other diseases.

I have found no medical studies have proven the efficacy of noni to fight asthma, but many have proved, by consuming herbal medicine noni, suffered asthma could be reduced. As I mentioned earlier, all herbal prescriptions for asthma in this blog, have been used, but you should still be careful to consult with your doctor first. So, you want to try this herbal asthma medicine? In the next article I will give the recipe and how to make herbal medicine noni to treat asthma.

Black Cumin, Powerfull Against Asthma

For centuries, black cumin is used by millions of people in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa to maintain health. Oil and herb believed to cure diseases related to respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, stomach and liver disorders as well as to boost the immune system. hat's why black cumin is so powerful against asthma. In Arabic, black cumin is known as the Habbatussauda (seed of happiness) or habbatul baraka, which means seed that brings blessing. For the Muslims, black cumin is the grace of God. Prompts Prophet Muhammad to take advantage of the black cumin is recorded in a hadith. "Stay with Black Seed treatment for surely he could cure all diseases except death."Efficacy of black cumin spread to Egypt, Greece, and India. Tutankhamen tomb discovered in the narrative that black cumin Pharaoh's personal physician used as raw material oils and ointments to treat digestive disorders. Cleopatra and Nefertiti used it to treat the skin to stay soft.In 460 BC, Hippocrates recommended the use of these plants to generate vitality and energy, comfort, and to overcome fatigue and psychic body. Dioscoredes, a physicist from the Greek, reported that black cumin is used to treat headaches, nasal congestion, toothache, increase milk production, and to cure intestinal worms.
The year 980 AD, Ibnu Sina in The Cannon of Medicine declared Black Cumin as a stimulus to help restore power and freshness of the body, stimulates energy, and helps recovery from fatigue or lack of spirit.Ibnu Sina praised Black Seed as a drug that can generate energy in the body and is able to relieve tired and lethargic. In his book, the Ibnu Sina also recommends habbatussauda to overcome various illnesses, including fever, asthma, headache, toothache, colds, skin diseases, sores, irritation, as anti-fungal, helminthic, and parasites. Nigellone prevent muscle spasms and dilate the respiratory tract, so that black cumin efficacious for respiratory diseases. Nigellone also is an antihistamine, which helps reduce allergies, whereas thymoquinone efficacious anti-inflammatory . These compounds are effective for flushing the body of toxins.
In 1960, Mahfouz and Badr El-Dakhakhny, Egyptian researchers, isolating the active substance nigellone of essential oils of black cumin. Researchers found that two volatile oils (tends to evaporate at normal temperature and pressure) in the black cumin is nigellone and thymoquinone. From the results of various studies that have been done, it can be concluded that Black Seed contains more than 100 important natural chemical element that is needed by the body, among others:
  •     Oleic (Omega 9) - is an essential element of the Omega family that has monounsaturated fatty acids or mono unsaturated fatty acid (MUFA), has properties to reduce levels of LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and increase levels of HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol).
  •     Linoleic (Omega 6) and linolenic (Omega 3) - has an important role in the body. It is known based on a study of the Eskimos who eat a lot of fish. Omega-6, Omega-3 and Omega-9, proved instrumental in the growth and development of the body, and serves to prevent various chronic diseases.
  •     Volatile oils or essential oils - oils that have been used since ancient times to enhance the flavor of food, as well as antibacterial drugs, antioxidative, and fungicides.
  •     Phytosterol - which has the ability to compete with cholesterol in terms of absorption in the intestine. This resulted in reduced cholesterol absorbed. Moreover, it also serves to prevent the occurrence of cancer.
  •     Alkaloids (Nigelleine and Nigellamine-n-oxide)
  •     Amino acids
  •     In each pit, habbbatussauda containing 21% protein, 35% carbohydrate, 35-38% fat, monosaccharides and non-starch polysaccharides. Monosaccharides are the simplest form of carbohydrate or referred to as "simple sugars". While the non-starch polysaccharides is a useful resource for dietary fiber.
  •     Black Seed also contains Arginine plays an important role in its infancy.
  •     Chemical analysis further found that the seeds Habatussauda also contains carotene, which is then converted by the liver into vitamin A.
  •     Black Seed also contains calcium, iron, sodium, and potassium. 11. Other content contained in Black Seed that is: Thymoquinone (TQ), Ditiymoquinone (DTQ), Thymohydroquinone (THQ), thymol (THY).
These are evidence of the efficacy of black cumin. In its use to treat asthma, black cumin proved very effective. When you start taking Black Seed, the majority of people will experience healing effects. These healing effects cause the body to be uncomfortable. These effects are as a proof and a sign that the healing process and detoxification is working within the body.
In some people, it would appear some symptoms, such as:
  1.     In women there who experience vaginal discharge or the appearance of acne
  2.     Appears itching in people with asthma (or other allergic diseases)
  3.     Appears pain (sore) at the waist, legs, or hands
  4.     As if the history of the old diseases reappear
  5.     Diarrhea
  6.     Frequent urination
  7.     Fever or flu
  8.     Headaches or migraines (usually in smokers and alcohol drinkers)
  9.     Nausea or bloating; lethargic
  10.     Many remove phlegm or mucus
  11.     Emotional disturbance

The healing effect will not last long, it will end in 2-3 days, depending on health conditions and durability of our health condition. But not everyone who consumes Seed will experience these symptoms, it is highly dependent of the immune system and type of disease they have.

Few recipes of black cumin for treating asthma.

  • one teaspoon of black cumin oil mixed with a cup of coffee. Twice daily, morning and night, for 2 days, Will overcome asthma and attack.
  • Oil of black cumin will effectively cure asthma. Apply oil of black cumin in the chest and back. Or mix 1 teaspoon black cumin oil into boiling water and inhale steam twice a day.

Black cumin For Asthma Treatment

Asthma is a symptom caused by abnormalities of the airways. This is a heightened sensitivity to stimuli from the environment as a trigger. Among them are due to emotional disturbances, physical fatigue, weather changes, temperature, dust, smoke, odors which stimulate, respiratory infections, dietary factors and allergic reactions. How black cumin can cure asthma, below are the following explanation.
It has been explained above that asthma has many causes, and most often occurs due to allergy. The most common asthma by children and are potentially disrupt the growth and development of the children themselves. Asthma can be said to be hereditary. If one parent had a history of asthma, 25% of the children likely to develop asthma. If both parents have a history of asthma the child's risk of developing asthma by 50%.
The level of mild symptoms such as cough / sneeze repeated until severe symptoms of asthma attacks (difficulty breathing). Level of sensitivity symptoms started since childhood that can heal by itself, but at a time will come again with more severe levels of symptoms called asthma.
Occurrence of Asthma Attacks
The occurrence of asthma attacks that began in instances where the smooth muscle of the bronchi seizures and tissues lining the airways have swollen because of the inflammation (inflammation) and the release of mucus into the airways. This resulted in a diameter smaller airways (called bronchoconstriction) and with a diameter narrowing of the airways, the patient must strive in order to breathe.
Certain cells in the airways (particularly mast cells) allegedly responsible for the beginning of this constriction. Mast cells throughout the bronchi release material such as histamine and leukotrienes that cause smooth muscle contraction, increased mucus formation, and transfer of certain white blood cells into the bronchi. Mast cells release the material as a response to something they recognize as foreign bodies (allergens), such as pollen, fine dust contained in the house or animal fur.
But asthma can also occur in some people who do not have a specific allergy. The same reaction occurs if the person is doing sports or being in cold weather. Stress and anxiety can also trigger the release of histamine and leukotrienes. Other cells (eosnofil) are found in asthmatic airways release other materials (as well as leukotrienes), which also causes constriction of the airways.
Symptoms that often arise include:
* Runny nose, sneezing, coughing, scratchy throat accompanied by unruly* Shortness of breath accompanied by trouble when issuing air discharge coupled with the sounds (wheezing), cold sweating, increased pulse rate* When doing sports that are too heavy or doing activities that cause fatigue will cause coughing.* If there is a fairly severe asthma attack, there will be cyanosis (bluish around the mouth)
So far, people say that asthma can not be completely cured and drugs that are currently only serves relieve symptoms, and with asthma control, asthma sufferers can be free of asthma symptoms that interfere so as to lead activities of daily living . Given the many risk factors that play a role, then the priority treatment of asthma has so far aimed at controlling symptoms. Good control is expected to prevent the occurrence of exacerbations (
recurrence of asthma symptoms), normalize lung function, obtaining a good social activity and improve quality.
Besides the drugs that exist today although it can eliminate the symptoms of asthma, but also have side effects include rapid heartbeat, restlessness, headache, tremors (shaking) muscles, nausea, vomiting, seizures, insomnia and anxiety.
Homemade remedy for asthma with Black cumin can effectively treat asthma
Previously described that in the black cumin has a lot of nutrient content, but there are other compounds that can also be said to be essential for the healing process of asthma and allergies is nigellone and thymoquinone. Nigellone useful to prevent muscle spasms and dilate the respiratory tract, but it is also nigellone as an antihistamine, which helps reduce allergies, whereas thymoquinone efficacious in healing anti-inflammatory and anti-pain. These compounds are effective for flushing the body of toxins.
This is consistent with research conducted by a group of scientists from the Pharmacology Research Laboratories, Department of Pharmacy, Kings College in 1995, which could prove that the volatile oil of black cumin and its derivative thymoquinone may act as an antiinflammatory. This means that the compound could inhibit eicosanoid generation and demonstrated anti-oxidant activity in the cell.
And in 1997, studies conducted in the microbiological unit of the Research Center, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which could prove that black cumin can be used as drug allergies.
1 tsp cumin oil contains 5 cc black for a nutritious drink to relieve asthma. In the Middle East, Black Seed oil commonly used as a homemade asthma medication. Patients with back and chest smeared with oil, cumin, or inhaling fumes and drink immediately. Nigella sativa oil from it should be drunk every day.
after taking black cumin oil, people with asthma breathe easier and be able to dance at school. It is usually still a little mucus in the airways that make our voices hoarse. However, it can be lost after 2 days of taking black cumin oil.
Research on black cumin
According to Dr. Heri Prasetyo Diding MSi, researchers from the University Eleven in March, Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia; asthma actually an alias of inflammatory conditions of airway inflammation due to hypersensitivity reactions to allergens. It might be a dust allergens, drugs, smoke, food or other allergens. Another example of the type hypersensitivity that result in inflammation of this kind is a skin allergy to specific allergens.
Hypersensitivity reaction in the airways that cause excess mucus production and inflammation. In addition, hypersensitivity also stimulates the muscles around the airways contract or tighten. The combination of those three things make the airways narrow and difficult to pass the air when we breathe.
Diding and the team from Faculty of Medicine, University Eleven March Surakarta (UNS) conducted research on mice to determine the effect of black cumin against asthma. Mice exposed to ovalbumin in aluminum hydroxide on days 4 and 20 studies. Ovalbumin are allergens trigger airway hypersensitivity reactions. In the second exposure, allergic reactions began to emerge.
At the same time, mice were fed with black cumin oil. The dose used in conversion of dose in humans that is multiplied by 0.0026 (conversion factor of the human dose to mice). Black cumin oil used many products on the market. Furthermore, mice re-exposed to aerosolized ovalbumin on day 26, 29, 31, 39, and 42.
For comparison, Diding provide third-generation antihistamine drugs in other groups of mice models of asthma. The 3rd generation antihistamines have the advantage of previous generations because aside from having the effect of antihistamines also showed anti-inflammatory effects. As a control group: mice without any treatment.
In the control group as much as 83.33% of the population do not have inflammation (inflammation grade 0). The rest had minimal inflammation (inflammatory grade 1). Ovalbumin exposed groups (asthma model) showed inflammation moderate (grade 3) as much as 8.83% and the remainder suffered severe inflammation (grade 4).
In the asthma model group mice fed black cumin oil decreased the degree of inflammation. Severe inflammation occurs only in 8.33% of the population, was 58.34%, and the rest suffered only mild inflammation. Results were in line with the effect of the 3rd generation antihistamines.
Giving an antihistamine shown to decrease the degree of inflammation so that mice had severe inflammation live 16.67%; moderate, 50%, mild (grade 2), 8.33% and the rest is minimal inflammation.
Equivalent antihistamines
From the results of his research, Diding and the team drew the conclusion that the ability of black cumin oil lowers the degree of airway inflammation in animal models of allergic asthma is proportional to the 3rd-generation antihistamines. 'That's because Nigella sativa oil have anti-inflammatory effect,' said the master of the field of immunology graduate of the University of Airlangga it.
Black Seed oil contains linoleic acid and thymoquinone. Linoleic acid plays down tumor necrosis factor (TNF) - one of the cytokines or proteins produced by specialized immune cells that cause cell death and inflammation causing inflammation alias. Because TNF levels drop, the degree of inflammation was reduced.
In addition, linoleic acid also plays a role in lowering the production of histamine - trigger allergies and suppress the formation of immunoglobulin E (IgE). IgE is an antibody which can specifically recognize the allergen and present it to the mast cells via specific receptors that will be formed inflammatory mediators. Although thymoquinone has a different mechanism, but it's basically compounds are also anti-inflammatory. Thymoquinone reduce TH2 cytokines, serum IgE, preventing mast cell degranulation, and thus lowers TNF down allergic reactions.
Diding research results and in line with the research team of Dr. Peter Schleicher Med, Munich, Germany. Immunologists tried pure black cumin seed oil to 600 patients with allergies. These include acne sufferers of asthma and allergy sufferers due to allergies and pollen and dust. The result, 70% of patients were cured of allergies.

Infants with very low birth weight a risk factor for asthma and the incidence of wheezing at the age of the child. Other conclusions obtained a family history of asthma also often associated with premature births, and the incidence bronchopulmonarydisplasia and chronic lung disease in preterm infants.
Transient tachypnea of the newborn or transient respiratory distress of the newborn apparently also often associated with the incidence of asthma. Shortness of the newborn cases this seems lately have also increased rapidly. Shortness of cases in infants by most physicians are often said to be accidentally swallowed amniotic fluid. Though the most common is the excessive amount of lung fluid in the womb. Formerly the theory associated with this disorder is not due to the occurrence of squeezing or squeeze lung at birth sectio Caesaria. But many recent studies reveal this happens because the production of fetal lung fluid that turns out more. These abnormalities are risk factors of asthma and exposure to maternal smoking during pregnancy. Other studies mentioned sufferers transient of the newborn at risk for asthma is more apt to occur during the preschool years.
Obtained the surprising research conducted Croen. Maternal asthma or asthma during pregnancy it could increase the risk of autism in children who are born. The research was conducted on 88,000 children in the year 1995 to 1999 in North California.

As the problem lies in the airways that carry air into and out of the lungs, treatment usually consists of medication is inhaled directly into the lungs. Corticosteroids prevent the airways from the contractor, and drugs known as bronchodilators dilate the airways. Current medical opinion is that it may not be necessary or wise, especially in children, too much use of these drugs.
Drugs to treat or prevent asthma often inhaled because they reach the lungs rapidly. Mesured dose inhalers deliver drugs. Relieve Asthma with Coffee

You, who suffer from asthma must have experienced a sudden asthma attack. Worse yet! Your medication stocks runs out. What would you do if that happened? Go to the hospital alone? Or maybe, call your personal doctor? What if the distance of the hospital with your house are too far away? Or, your personal doctor is still treating other patients, in places far far away from your home? You might have run out of breath when help arrives.
But there is a quick solution when asthma attack, or when you ran out of medication, or you forgot to bring it. And remember, this is only prevention for emergencies only!

So, how? You have coffee at home? If yes, then you have a chance to relieve your asthma attacks. Drinks coffee and soft drinks containing caffeine (cola)! Because, caffeine expand bronchial airway, in another word it opens the breathing airway. Doctors have known about the beneficial effects of coffee that was able to treat asthma since at least 1859 (Edinburgh Medical Journal). Research and statistics have shown that caffeine can open airways and improve asthma symptoms (New England Journal of Medicine, March 22, 1984). This dose is about 3 cups of strong coffee for an average adult, and 1 cup for children. What I mean is black coffee, without any mixture, only coffee and hot water only.
Caffeine related with teofilin, a drug of ancient asthma. Consequently, decaffeinated coffee would not work. The instant coffee contain fewer caffeine than brewed coffee, so you may require some more cups for relieving your asthma attack.
You do not have to rely on caffeine to control asthma. Although it can help during an emergency, prescription drugs offer better assistance, better more are homemade asthma herbs. If I may say,
it is also a good idea we get into the habit, drinking a cup of brewed coffee every day, it really can reduce the occurrence of asthma attacks. And that's if you like. Drink up !
