Noni fruit herbal can fight asthma

You've heard of noni? If you've ever heard, noni is one fruit that is used many people in various parts of the world to treat various diseases. One more solution to treat asthma, we can make our self at home. Noni is a fruit with surface divided into polygonal cells spotted and warty appearance of the fruit that makes it look bad, and smells not so good. Nevertheless, the noni fruit that have a Latin name Morinda citrifolia L. It has a million benefits. Because in addition to vegetables and salad consumed, the fruit is also used as herbal medicine, one of them to treat asthma.

Medical Research On Noni

Medical research on noni started at least in 1950, when the scientific journal Pacific Science reported that Noni fruit showed antibacterial properties against M. pyrogenes, P. Aeruginosa, and even E. coli are deadly.

Studies and research on noni continuously carried out by various research institutions and universities. Since 1972, Dr. Ralph Heinicke, renowned biochemist from the United States began to conduct research on the alkaloid xeronine of the enzyme bromelain (an enzyme in pineapple), and then discovered that the Noni fruit also contains xeronine and precursor (proxeronine) in large numbers. Xeronine is one of the important substances that regulate specific functions of proteins and cells of the human body.

In 1993, the journal Cancer Letter reported that some researchers from Keio University and The Institute of Biomedical Sciences in Japan who do research on 500 types of plants claim that they found anti-cancer substances (damnacanthal) contained in Noni.

Leading research institutions in France, Holland, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Taiwan, Austria, Canada, and even the National Academy of Sciences, a center of scientific study of national prestigious in the United States has done various research on noni. Meanwhile, researchers at the University of Hawaii has also done much research on noni, including research on the activities of anti-tumor and anti-cancer Morinda citrifolia are loaded in a scientific journal (Proc, Western Pharmacology Society Journal, vol, 37, 1994).

A survey conducted by Dr. Neil Solomon of 8000 users noni juice involving 40 doctors and other medical practitioners indicates that Noni juice help the restoration of a number of diseases, such as: cancer, heart disease, digestive disorders, diabetes, stroke, and a host of other diseases.

Scientific research shows that constituents in noni fruit has the property to stimulate the formation of immune response, cleanses the blood, regulate cell function, regeneration of damaged cells and inhibit tumor growth. Phytochemicals (natural chemical substances found in plants) has efficacy for the prevention of disease and rich in antioxidant content. Noni has a very broad spectrum of phytochemicals, some of which are only found in the noni. The phytochemical-phytochemical synergy with each other to produce amazing healing properties.

Dr. Joseph Betz, chemical researchers from the FDA (Food and Drug Association) Center For Natural Products division of Good Safety and Applied Nutrition at the U.S. said that some experiments have shown that noni juice can soothe muscle movement and has anti-allergic effects.

In 1992, Dr. Isabella Abbott, professor of botany at the University of Hawaii said that Noni is used more and more people to cope with diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure and many other diseases.

I have found no medical studies have proven the efficacy of noni to fight asthma, but many have proved, by consuming herbal medicine noni, suffered asthma could be reduced.
